Sleeping beauty ..

My 1st mobile phone :)

Since I spend a lot of time in my cot,Ayah decided to get me my own 'mobile phone' :). Whenever I needed attention,I would without hesitation let my parents know, without any delay :). The soothing night light function also helps me sleep comfortably at night.

Neonatal jaundice..

20/01/2010 - Nurses from a nearby clinic came to do their home visit - to check on my general well-being. They noted that i had a tinge of jaundice and referred me for further checks at a hospital. Ayah went to his workplace in Serdang Hospital and took a few blood sample bottles with syringes. I hardly cried when Ayah took the blood from my left hand. The total bilirubin result ? 291 mmol/l,which was above the normal range. As a consequence,i had to be admitted to hospital. I spent 2 nights,under single phototherapy,before i was allowed home on 22/01.

Home .. sweet home !

16/01/2010 - After spending 2 nights at the hospital, it was time to go home !

Adzraa Zaqeeya Hussin..

14/01/2010 - Bonda went for her routine antenatal check- up at Serdang Hospital. Ultrasound scan done showed severe oligohydramnios :(. Subsequently a CTG was done and it revealed a tachycardic fetal heart rate. The Obstetrician promptly advised Bonda to undergo emergency LSCS .. Bonda was worried,but Ayah was always there by her side,to keep her calm. Ayah was also allowed to be with Bonda in the operation theatre. At 1302h,the operation started.. and at 1308h, i was delivered ! My birth weight and length was 3.36 kg and 50 cm respectively. My name .. Adzraa Zaqeeya binti Dr. Muhammad Hussin. My beautiful Bonda .. Norhafizah binti Ismail.

Adzraa means gadis.
Zaqeeya means cerdik,cerdas & mudah faham.
